Core Academic Program

Whole Group Instruction

At Fuller, we use a rigorous, comprehensive curriculum (Engage NY) in grades K-8 for both reading and math. Students benefit from high-quality teacher planning and collaboration, helping them meet and exceed grade-level expectations.

Small group instruction

Teachers provide daily small group instruction to students whose needs are similar. These smaller groups allow teachers to tailor instruction to target specific skills, while allowing the rest of the class to practice skills previously taught to the whole group.

Personalized instruction

Using a variety of programs specifically chosen to help meet individual needs, students work independently on skills at their own pace. Teacher routinely monitor progress on these online platforms and intervene or push as needed.

Fuller Enrichment and Intervention

Fuller School of Excellence provides opportunities for student enrichment and intervention both during and before/after the school day. Programs like Academic Boost allow students the chance for academic tutoring before school, targeting skills students struggled with the previous week. After school offerings support students from grades K-8 and include academic courses, intramural athletics, and clubs.
